Bay and Bow windows are constructed by joining multiple windows to create a curved, singular structure that extends beyond the vertical plane of a home or business. Both styles add visual interest and additional interior space.

Our bay window has three windows and our bow window five. Both styles can be constructed by using a combination of styles that include a fixed picture window, double hung, and casement. For example, you’ll often see bay windows with a fixed, center window flanked by two operational double hung or casement windows.

Manufactured with a reinforced “buck” frame, Jantek Bays and Bow windows can be outfitted to accept a window seat.  

Garden windows also project from the home’s exterior. These windows are a box-like shape with a slanted roof and two operable side lites. Most often, these “mini-greenhouses” are installed over a kitchen sink to house plants or collectibles.
