Architectural Shaped Windows are fixed, geometrically shaped windows that are used to add interest to a home’s façade. These windows allow a space to receive more natural light, so they are often found paired with other window styles in homes with vaulted ceilings.
Shaped windows are used to create Palladian windows. This window style is created using three windows. It is defined as having a larger, center window with an arch, flanked by two smaller windows. You’ll also see architectural shaped windows used over doors.
Typical shapes include: octagonal, arched, round, half-round and eyebrow.
